Prices per sample

Our Internal charging rate applies to all research users within the 'Westmead Research Hub'. This includes WMI, Westmead Hospital, The Children's Hospital Westmead (CHW), and the Children's Medical Research Institute (CMRI).

Our External/Clinical charging rate applies to institutions outside the Westmead Research Hub as well as clinical/diagnostic users within the Hub.

Sequencing of large DNA templates (e.g. cosmid, BAC and genomic DNA) require altered reaction conditions - please contact lab for relevant pricing.

Payment Methods

If paying with internal funds, ie Western Sydney Area Health Service (WSAHS) (covers many in WMI and Westmead Hospital), please supply payment at the time of sample delivery, with either:

• Purchase requisition (non-stock items) - including your cost code and Department Manager's signature, made out for the number of reactions/total amount etc; or
• Trust fund transfer - please provide a purchase requisition (non-stock items), noting cost code, along with a copy of authorisation memo (in place of your Dept. Manager's signature).

If paying with 'external' funds (eg CMRI, CHW, University of Sydney order numbers etc) - please quote an order number and the details of whom to bill. Invoices will be issued through Revenue Dept. WSAHS after the run date. Also include any relevant departmental booking numbers (some institutions have their own system).

Please note that GST applies to all external billing transactions
